This August, in the heart of *Adegbayi, Ibadan, we will gather children and teens aged **6 to 18 years, every **Friday and Saturday, to embark on a journey that connects ancient wisdom with tomorrow’s technology. And we’re offering it *completely free—because we believe that greatness should never be limited by circumstance.
Why Roots and Rockets?
Because our children need more than textbooks and exams. They need context. They need to know the names, voices, and visions of African revolutionaries who fought for freedom, justice, and dignity. They need to feel proud of their heritage, to see the power in their lineage, and to realise that the same spirit of resistance and brilliance runs through their veins.
But it doesn’t stop at history.
They will also be immersed in the world of science and innovation—through exciting experiments, hands-on science projects, and leadership development lessons. They’ll build, test, fail, try again. They’ll learn not just to dream, but to do.
Our camp is where *Shaka Zulu meets SpaceX, where *Nkrumah inspires Newtonian experiments, and where leadership is taught not as a title but as a duty to community.
